KinderAcademy
The KinderAcademy program will prepare your child intellectually, socially and
emotionally to enter public or privatekindergarten. This unique program gives each
child the opportunity to experience team teaching while participating indistinct areas
of study. These areas include Languages Arts and Listening, Math and Computers,
Science and Social Studies, and Music and Movement.
Your child will also be learning basic Spanish, French, German, Italian and Chinese
throughout the school year.
Freshman/ Sophomore Class: This class is designed for 3-4 1/2 year olds and begins
our readiness program. The Academy curriculum initates pre-reading, writing and
math skills in this class. Each child experiences enormous growth during this class in
their academic accomplishments. The Academy also provides ample social time in
classroom centers and on our playground.
Junior/Senior Class: This 4 1/2- 6 year old program is academically focused to prepare your child for Kindergarten. Daily
activities enhance each student's reading, writing and math skills, while maintaining a strong social element. The Academy
shares common goals with the Pennsbury School District.
Kindergarten Enrichment: This program is an extention of the program your child receives from the Pennsbury School District and area private schools. Your child will be under the guidance of a certified teacher for the remainder of his/her day. Transportation is provided to and from school in The Academy's bus that is equipped with adjustable shoulder harnesses for each child. The Academy also provide instruction during days off from school or emergency closings at no additional charge.
Before/After School: This program is available to students enrolled in the area schools. Transportation will be provided to and/or from school daily in The Academy's bus. The Academy offers an optional program for days off and half days off from school.
NEW THIS YEAR!!
The Academy is introducing a theater program that is designed to encourage reading in children ages 3-5. This program will have your child reading scripts as they participate in a a dramatic reading performance, that is complete with cast members and follow up activities.
Summer Camp
The Academy offers a summer camp for children 3-12 years of age. Our full summer camp begins the week after school ends and continues throughout the summer. Campers will learn about various themes, such as, Land Before Time, Out of This World, Bugs, Reptiles, and Down on the Farm. These learning experiences take place in drama, nature, science, cooking and games everyday. Our camp offers daily specials like; My Gym Fitness Program,Scott'sanimal shows, dance, drama, magic productions and many more, as well as, field trips to Howell Farm, Bucks County Playhouse, Kids Kingdom, Bowling and Swimming at a local pool. This experience is sure to be one your children will remember for years to come.
